CoVa Karate of Virginia Beach bases our teachings on what some would call “traditional” Okinawan Karate. Our martial arts are based on methods and concepts, rooted in older ways of training in Okinawa, before the Japanese turned it from life protection, karate’s true purpose, to a sport.
