Virginia Beach Karate School
Coastal Virginia karate is teaming up to support Enjewel, a local non-profit organization whose mission is…
To advocate that all people have the right to the pursuit of
happiness and to their rights of freedom.
We are to be disrupters and make waves
when that right is taken away.
Coastal Virginia Karate will provide ongoing civilian self-defense classes to Enjewel. Our first scheduled self-defense class on January 28, 2023 at 10:00am our guess instructor will be John Carria, who is a retired U.S. Marine. He learned Okinawan Martial arts and is a 9th degree in Uechi-ryu. He was the Chief Karate Instructor in Quantico (Marines), he’s extensive resume also includes training the Iraqi army, more recently the Ukrainian Special Forces and Mongolian Expeditionary Task Forces.
Local Virginia Beach Attorney Brett Thompson will speak to us concerning self-defense and the law.
