One of the more daunting aspects in karate training is the correct movement of the feet. Improper movement of the feet will result in “stances” that are not optimal. Either the balance will be off, the center of gravity will be in the wrong position, weight distribution will be misaligned. This short video will provide the basics of transitioning between stances.
Note: There are no true stances in Karate, only snap shots of movements that are fluid, these stances are only for training purposes.
